Hey fellow WoW players! Welcome to my blog and this article about Liferoot farming. There is no need to ever buy it on AH if you follow my guide. Quite the contrary, you can even farm it to sell on Auction House and earn lots of gold this way.
If you have hard time earning gold in WoW I recommend using this in-game add-on, called Zygor Guides. It really helps you with lots of aspects in the game, including Farming, Crafting, Gathering, Auction, Leveling, Professions and much more... Though, the add-on costs some money, but is well worth the price. They also have a FREE TRIAL you may want to try.
This herb always grows near water streams or ponds. After doing a bit of research I found out a special place full of Liferoot. There is a big lake in Western Plaguelands called Darrowmere Lake. It is that big lake surrounding Scholomance instance. Of course, there is a chance it is a very populated place, full of other herbalists. That’s why you should also visit the other two zones I like farming Liferoot.

Western Plaguelands – Darrowmere Lake
Just do circles around the lake. If you have an epic flying mount, it’s even faster and easier. Just follow this path.
Eastern Plaguelands
Here I also found a lot of nodes. I know this is not an ideal place, especially because it is not a single lake or river. But give it a shot if the previous zone doesn’t satisfy you.
Northern Stranglethorn
This river is also a good source of this herb. Just travel from the top of the main river all the way down to the end:
