Hey, fellow WoW players! Welcome to my blog and this article about Felslate farming. There is no need to ever buy it on AH if you follow my guide. Quite the contrary, you can even farm it to sell on Auction House and earn lots of gold this way.
If you have a hard time earning gold in WoW I recommend using this in-game add-on, called Zygor Guides. It really helps you with lots of aspects of the game, including Farming, Crafting, Gathering, Auction, Leveling, Professions and much more... Though, the add-on costs some money but is well worth the price. They also have a FREE TRIAL you may want to try.
Before you go start farming you may check this list of items and enchants to speed up your farming process:
Enchant Gloves - Legion Mining is much recommended enchant as it drops down mining time from 1.5s to 0.5s. Makes quite a difference! 🙂
Also, go get Boon of the Salvager but you must be honored with Valarjar. This enchant gives you a chance to loot Salvaged Armor containing extra ore.
Where to farm Felslate?
First place, good to farm Felslate is in Suramar.
I really recommend visiting Suramar if you want to farm lots of this ore. There are two reasons: firstly, it can be found all over the place as shown on the map:
The second reason: there are Felfire Basilisks in the same zone which you can mine Felslate from them. Also, their respawn rate is very fast. They are located here:

Another place to farm Felslate is in Val'sharah
The other option is going to Val'sharah.
